Biography
Blessed Ferdinando De Pazos was a Mercedarian friar who dedicated his life to the arduous task of freeing Christians enslaved by Muslims in Fez, Morocco. While not much is known about his early life, it is believed that he was born in a region of Spain, and later joined the Mercedarian Order to serve God and his fellow Christians.
