Blessed Francus of Francavilla, also known as Franco, was a revered figure in the Catholic Church, particularly within the Greek rite. He was born in the mid-10th century in the region of Calabria, Italy. As a young man, Francus joined a monastery in Calabria, where he devoted himself to a life of piety and solitude.
