Biography
Blessed Giomaria of Lorvão, also known as Guiomar, was a Cistercian nun who dedicated her entire life to her religious calling. Born in the latter 13th century in Portugal, little is known about her early life or family background. However, her devout nature and deep devotion to prayer and penance would soon mark her as a remarkable figure in the annals of the Cistercian order.
