Biography

Blessed Hadewych, also known as Hadewig or Hedwig, was a preeminent figure in the history of the Catholic Church. She was born around the year 1150, the daughter of Blessed Hildegundis and the sister of Blessed Herman Joseph. Hadewych was deeply influenced by her family's strong devotion to the Lord, and she dedicated her life to the service of God from an early age.
