Biography

Blessed Ignacealexandrejoseph Cardon, also known as Brother Simèon-Marie or Simeone Maria Cardon, was a Benedictine monk and martyred Catholic priest. Born in Cambrai, Nord, France, he entered religious life and made his profession as a Benedictine monk on 4 August 1782 at the monastery of San Mauro in Saint-Faron de Meaux.
