Blessed Ingrid of Sweden, also known as Ingrid Elofsdotter of Skánninge and Ingrid Elovsdotter, was born in the 13th century in Skánninge, Sweden. She hailed from the Swedish nobility and was known for her exceptional education and devout nature from a young age.
