Blessed Jarich of Mariegaarde, also known as Jarichus or Jaricus, was a Premonstratensian monk and priest who lived in the latter 12th century in Friesland, which is part of the modern Netherlands. He was born in this region and grew up in a deeply religious family, fostering his vocation towards religious life from an early age.
