Biography
Blessed Jarogniew Wojciechowski, also known as Jarek by his family and friends, was a young layman in the archdiocese of Poznan, Poland, who lived during a tumultuous period in history. He was born on November 5, 1922, in Poznan, Wielkopolskie, Poland, to a troubled family. His father, an alcoholic manager of a cosmetics shop, eventually abandoned their family, leaving them in difficult circumstances.
