Biography

Blessed Joan Fort Rius, also known as Àngel of Saint Joseph, was a Discalced Carmelite brother who was martyred during the Spanish Civil War. He was born on 10 October 1896 in L’Espluga de Francolí, Tarragona, Spain. Joan dedicated his life to the service of God as a religious brother and lived a life of humility and devotion.
