Biography

Blessed Joan Prats Gibert, also known as Joan Gibert i Romeu, was born on 26 October 1903 in Selva del Camp, Tarragona, Spain. He became a member of the Claretians, a religious congregation founded by Saint Anthony Mary Claret, and made his profession on 15 August 1921. Deeply committed to his faith and the service of others, Joan pursued his vocation and was ordained a priest on 22 December 1928.
