Blessed Joan Vilaregut Farré, also known as Joan of Jesus, Juan de Jesús, and Juan Vilaregut Farré, was a Catholic priest and a member of the Discalced Carmelites. He was born on 19 August 1907 in Vic, Barcelona, Spain. Joan dedicated his life to the service of God and entered the religious order of the Discalced Carmelites, known for their emphasis on prayer and contemplation.
