Biography
Blessed John Gavan, also known as John Gawen, was born in London, England in 1640. He received his education at the prestigious Jesuit College in Saint Omer, France. Inspired by his studies and deepened faith, he embraced priesthood and returned to England to minister to covert Catholics in Staffordshire.
