Biography

Blessed Jorge Vargas González, also known as Jorge Vargas, was born on 28 September 1899 in Ahualulco de Mercado, Jalisco, Mexico. He was the son of a physician and grew up in a devout Catholic family. At the age of fifteen, Jorge's family moved to Guadalajara, Mexico, where he would spend most of his life.
