Biography
Blessed José Menéndez García, a Dominican priest, was born on February 19, 1888, in Genestosa, Oviedo, Spain. He dedicated his life to the service of God and entered the Dominican Order, where he underwent rigorous theological training and was ordained to the priesthood.
