Blessed José Otín Aquilué, also known as José Otín Aquilué, was born on 22 December 1901 in Huesca, Spain. He was an exceptional individual who, throughout his life, demonstrated great dedication to his faith and service to others.

Educated by the Salesians, José received a solid foundation in his academic and spiritual formation. As he grew, he began feeling a strong call to religious life and decided to join the Salesian Society in Campello, Spain. In 1928, José was ordained a priest, marking the beginning of his lifelong ministry.

As a priest, José Otín Aquilué exhibited remarkable pastoral and teaching skills. His captivating sermons and compassionate demeanor made him incredibly popular among his parishioners. He ardently worked towards enlightening others about the love of God and guiding them on their spiritual journeys.
