Biography

Blessed Jose TÖpies Y Sirvant, also known as Blessed José of Pobla di Segur, was born on 15 March 1869 in the town of Ponts, within the Diocese of Urgell in Noguera, Lleida, Spain. He was the son of Juan TÖpies and Serafina Sirvant. TÖpies Y Sirvant was a devoted Catholic from an early age and showed a deep love for music, particularly as an organist.
