Blessed Leoncio Pérez Ramos, also known as Leoncio of Barbastro, was born on 12 September 1875 in Muro de Aguas, a small town in Logroño, Spain. He was born into a poor peasant family, but despite humble beginnings, he possessed a genuine desire to serve God and others.
