Blessed Lorenzo of Belem, also known as Lorenzo of Lisbon, was a 14th-century member of the Order of Saint Jerome and a prominent figure in the religious community of the time. Born in an unknown year, Lorenzo dedicated his life to the service of God and became a monk at the prestigious monastery of Belem in Lisbon, Portugal.
