Biography
Blessed Louis-Édouard Cestac was born on January 6, 1801, in Bayonne, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, France. As a child, he suffered from neuralgia, a painful condition that rendered him unable to speak for three years. However, he experienced a miraculous healing after his mother developed a deep devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. This early encounter with the power of faith had a profound impact on Louis-Édouard's life.
