Biography
Blessed Louis-Zéphirin Moreau, also known as Blessed Louis-Zéphirin Moreau of Saint-Hyacinthe, was born on April 1, 1824, in Bécancour, Quebec, Canada. He came from a humble farm family, but his early years were marked by illness and frailty. Despite these challenges, he possessed a deep sense of spirituality and a strong desire to serve God and his fellow human beings.
