Biography
Blessed Luis Gutiérrez Calvo, born on 29 January 1888 in Melgar de Abajo, Valladolid, Spain, was an Augustinian brother who is recognized as a martyr for his faith during the Spanish Civil War. Little is known about his early life and upbringing. Luis dedicated his life to serving God and joined the Augustinian order to deepen his spiritual journey and commitment.
