Biography

Blessed Manuel Palacios Rodríguez, a lifelong layman of the Archdiocese of Seville, Spain, dedicated his life to faith and service within his community. Born into the ordinary rhythms of family life, he married Luisa Monrabá Canela on 4 October 1909, and together they raised seven children, including the Blessed Enrique Palacios Monrabá. Manuel’s profound commitment to his Catholic vocation was expressed through active participation in the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, where he served the poor and vulnerable, and on his parish council, contributing to the spiritual and temporal welfare of his neighbors.
