Blessed Maria Corsini Beltrame Quattrocchi was born on June 24, 1884, in Florence, Italy, to Angiolo Corsini and Giulia Salvi. Her father was a royal army captain of grenadiers, which resulted in the family moving frequently to different Italian cities during Maria's early years. They lived in Pistioa, Florence, Arrezo, and Rome, providing Maria with diverse experiences and exposures to various cultures.
