Biography
Blessed Maria Del Paradiso, a humble religious of the Mercedarian Order, dedicated her life to a profound union of prayer, penance, and communal austerity within the cloistered life. Born into obscurity, her specific origins remain unrecorded in the historical accounts. Her vocation found its fulfillment when she entered the Monastery of Santa Maria ad Argamasilla, where she became a sister and lifelong companion to the venerable Elisabetta del Paradiso, who would later be recognized as Blessed. Together, they embraced the rigorous Mercedarian charism, living a life of radical simplicity, constant prayer, and self-denial, embodying the order's commitment to contemplative service
