Blessed Marie Lhuilier, who is also known as Sister Saint Monica, was born on November 18, 1744, in Arquenay, Mayenne, France. She faced significant challenges in her early life, as she lost her parents when she was just a small girl. With no education or place in the world, she worked briefly as a domestic servant.
