Biography

Blessed Martino Martini, also known as Martino of Lisbon, was born in the late 12th century in Lisbon, Portugal. Little is known about his early life, but it is documented that he converted to Christianity and became deeply devoted to his faith. He felt a strong calling to serve God and joined the Franciscan order, committed to a life dedicated to prayer and humility.
