Blessed Maximiano Fierro Pérez, also known as Brother Ángel Amado, was a devout Catholic and a member of the Christian Brothers. He was born on August 21, 1905, in Alfamén, Zaragoza, Spain. Although not much is known specifically about his life, his deep commitment to his faith and his religious vocation as a Brother left a lasting impact on those who knew him.

During the tumultuous period of the Spanish Civil War, Brother Ángel Amado courageously held on to his beliefs and continued his religious work amidst the growing hostility towards the Catholic Church.
