Biography
Blessed Meingosus of Weingarten, also known as Megingaud or Meingos, was a Benedictine monk and the Abbot of Weingarten Abbey in Swabia, which is located in modern-day Germany. He assumed the role of abbot around the year 1188, overseeing the spiritual and administrative responsibilities of the monastery.
