Biography
Blessed Miro of Canzo, also known as Mirus de Canzio, was born around the year 1306 in Canzo, a small town located on the shores of Lake Como, Italy. As a young man, he was deeply moved by the teachings of Jesus, especially the call to care for the poor and needy. Motivated by this message of compassion, Miro decided to give away all of his possessions to the less fortunate.
