Biography

Blessed Nectaire of Sainteanne, also known as Nectaire of Ephesus, is recognized as a martyr and a courageous example of faith. Born in Ephesus, it is believed that he was raised in a Christian family and nurtured in the teachings of the Catholic Church. However, at some point in his life, Nectaire entered the service of a Turk and converted to Islam.
