Biography

Blessed Odino of Rot, born into the German nobility and related to the counts of Rajasthan and Waldburg, dedicated his life to the Premonstratensian Order. Entering monastic life, he became a canon at Mönchsrot Abbey in Rot near Memmingen, Germany. For forty-two years, he served as Abbot of this community, guiding it with profound wisdom and pastoral care. Under his leadership, the Abbey flourished remarkably, growing to encompass two
