Blessed Pascual Aláez Medina, born on May 11, 1917, in the village of Villaverde de Arcayos, located in León, Spain, was a devoted Catholic priest and member of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. He is also known as one of the Oblate Martyrs of the Spanish Civil War.
