Biography

Blessed Paulus Yi Dogi was a layman martyr in the apostolic vicariate of Korea. He was born in Cheongyang, Chungcheong-do, South Korea in 1743. Little is known about his early life and family, as historical records are scarce. However, it is believed that Paulus Yi Dogi grew up in a devout Catholic household and was deeply committed to his faith.
