Biography

Blessed Perfecto Del Río Páramo, also known as Blessed Perfecto Del Río, was born as Perfecto Del Río Páramo on 18 April 1882 in Pedroda del Rio Urbel, Burgos, Spain. He was a devoted Catholic who dedicated his life to serving God and others as a Brother in the Vincentian Congregation of the Mission.

Perfecto Del Río Páramo became a part of the Vincentian Congregation of the Mission, also known as the Vincentians, which is a religious community established by St. Vincent de Paul. The Vincentians are known for their works of charity and their commitment to serving the poor and marginalized in society.

During the turbulent times of the Spanish Civil War, Perfecto Del Río Páramo courageously stood firm in his faith and remained committed to his religious vocation, despite the dangers that surrounded him. He became a martyr for his unwavering dedication to his Catholic beliefs.
