Biography

Blessed Richard Butler, born as Richard O'Butler, was an Irish Franciscan Friar Minor priest and one of the Irish Martyrs. He was born in Ireland but little is known about his early life and family background. Richard Butler dedicated his life to the service of God and entered the Franciscan Order, where he received his religious formation and was ordained as a priest.
