Biography
Blessed Richard Hill, born around 1565 in Yorkshire, England, was a priest in the apostolic vicariate of England during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. He is widely recognized as one of the Martyrs of Douai and one of the Martyrs of England, Scotland, and Wales. His feast days are celebrated on 27 May, 29 October as one of the Martyrs of Douai, and on 22 November as one of the Martyrs of England, Scotland, and Wales.
