Biography

Blessed Robert Dalby, a former Protestant minister, embraced the Catholic faith and dedicated his life to its service. After his conversion, he pursued theological studies at the renowned seminaries of Douai and Reims in France. Ordained a priest in 1588, he returned to England with the perilous mission of ministering to the secret community of Catholics enduring severe persecution under Queen Elizabeth I.
