Biography

Blessed Roger Filcock, a Jesuit priest and martyr of the English Reformation, dedicated his life to sustaining the faith of Catholics enduring persecution in his homeland. Educated at the University of Rheims in France and later at Valladolid in Spain, he was ordained to the priesthood in Valladolid around 1597. Returning to England in 1598, he courageously minister
