He was born in 1627 and dedicated his life to deepening his prayer life and fostering a strong devotion to the Virgin Mary.
Blessed Severin Ott was renowned for his personal penances and his unwavering commitment to a life of prayer. He spent his days engaged in intimate communion with God, seeking his guidance and grace. One of his notable contributions was promoting pilgrimages to a shrine in the nearby village of Sheissen.
