Biography
Blessed Thomas Vasière, also known as Thomas de Tolosa, was a Mercedarian friar who dedicated his life to the service of God and the liberation of Christian captives from Muslim slavery. Born in France, the exact details of his early life and upbringing remain unknown. However, it is believed that he eventually joined the Mercedarian Order, which was known for its mission to redeem Christians who had been enslaved by Muslims.
