Biography

Blessed Walto of Wessobrünn, also known as Balto of Wessobrünn, was a Benedictine monk who became the abbot of Wessobrünn in Bavaria in the year 1129. Born in 1090, Walto dedicated his life to serving God and his fellow monks. Throughout his life, he exemplified the virtues of humility, piety, and dedication, which earned him a reputation as a spiritually devout and holy man.
