Biografía

Thérèse Couderc, born Marie-Victoire Couderc on February 1, 1805, was a French religious sister and co-founder of the Sisters of the Cenacle. She faced numerous challenges during her time as a sister, including humiliation due to false accusations that forced her to resign from positions and subjected her to ridicule and mockery. These trials, however, softened towards the end of her life. Thérèse Couderc was known for her spiritual writings on sacrifice and service to God. After her death on September 26, 1885, she left a legacy of spiritual works that continue to inspire many. Pope Paul VI canonized her in 1970, recognizing her contributions to the Church.
