Saint Adjutor, born on July 24, 1073, in Vernon, France, was a knight who participated in the First Crusade and later became a hermit at the Abbey of Trion. Tradition holds that during his time in the Crusades, he was captured by Muslims and attempted to force him to abandon his faith.
