Alessandro Florenzi, born on March 11, 1991, in Italy, was a professional footballer known for his versatility as a full-back. He began his career with Roma in 2011 and later served as the team's captain following Daniele De Rossi’s departure in 2019. Florenzi had notable stints on loan at Crotone, Valencia, and Paris Saint-Germain, where he won significant trophies such as the Trophée des Champions and the Coupe de France. Internationally, he represented Italy at various levels, including the under-21 team in 2013, making his senior debut in 2012. Florenzi played a key role in the Italian national team's victory at UEFA Euro 2020 and reached the finals of the Finalissima in 2022.
