At the tender age of sixteen, a young man named Dionysius Ssebuggwawo Wasswa stood firm against the winds of royal tyranny. His witness was not one of years, but of conviction. While records from the late nineteenth century in the Kingdom of Buganda are often fragmented, the story of his sacrifice remains a beacon of faith. He is known as a martyr of Uganda, a title that places him among a group of young men and women who chose death over apostasy.
