Saint Felician

Biography
The ancient city of Carthage, rising from the fertile shores of present-day Tunisia, stands as one of the most significant crucibles of early Christian witness in the Mediterranean world. Within the shadow of its amphitheaters and under the gaze of Roman governors, countless faithful offered their lives for the sake of the Gospel. Among the long roll of names recorded in the liturgical calendars of the Church is that of Felician, a martyr whose courage echoes through the centuries despite the scarcity of biographical detail. To know Felician is to know the environment in which he lived and died, a place where the fervor of the faithful often clashed with the demands of imperial authority.
