Fridolin of Säckingen, also known as Fridold or Fredelinus, was an Irish missionary and apostle to the Alamanni who founded Säckingen Abbey on the Upper Rhine. He is celebrated for his role in spreading Christianity among the Alamanni tribes and is venerated as a saint by the Church. His feast day is observed on March 6th.
