Saint Habakkuk

Habakkuk, or Habacuc, was a prophet active around 612 BC whose oracles and prayer are recorded in the Book of Habakkuk, the eighth of the collected twelve minor prophets in the Hebrew Bible. He is revered by Jews, Christians, and Muslims. The book of the Bible bearing his name contains almost all information about him; it provides no biographical details other than his title, 'the prophet.' In Christian tradition, he is mentioned in the deuterocanonical Additions to Daniel and has been venerated through the centuries in both Christian and Rabbinic traditions.
