Mary Euphrasia Pelletier, born as Rose Virginie Pelletier on July 31, 1796, in Noirmoutier-en-l'Île, France, was a French religious sister and the founder of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd. She served as its first superior general during her lifetime. In Tours, she also established a community known as the 'Magdalens,' which later became the Contemplatives of the Good Shepherd....
