Saint Adamnan of Iona, also known as Adam, Adamnano, Adomnan, and Eunan, was a distant relative of Saint Columba. Born around 628 in Drumhome, County Donegal, Ireland, he went on to become a renowned monk and important figure in the spread of Christianity throughout Ireland.
